Personal Web Design

I built my first website in 1999. It was a very low tech design with the intention of posting to the web some music and picture files I had created so some friends could have access to them. It was built using clunky HTML tables in a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) design software package. I had a lot of fun doing it and it was functional but those music files I posted for my friends took a very long time to download with the slow connections we all had in those days. But, did my friends appreciate my efforts? You bet they did. And that's the point of this story. Personal websites are fun. They're a great way to share photos, keep in touch with friends and loved ones, showcase your hobbies and talents, and express your creativity.
